Job Description
This mid-level Linux System Engineer role requires experience with server hardware, application and software integration, and deployment techniques. The position involves hardening server deployments, managing enterprise Linux systems, and providing security updates to deployed hardware, including Dell, HP, and Cisco devices. Experience with domain name service, network time protocols, and file forwarding services is also required.
Requirements
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in technical discipline
- 7+ years of experience in systems engineering or 12+ years of experience with systems engineering
- Experience with server hardening review and scripting
- Experience with managing enterprise Linux systems
- Experience with domain name service, Network Time Protocols, enterprise messaging, and file forwarding services
- Ability to install, kick, and apply security patches
- Experience with project management and development
