Job Description
Furman University's English department invites applicants for a tenure-track position in multiethnic literatures of the United States at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank. The successful candidate will contribute to the First-Year Writing program and teach introductory literature courses.
Requirements
- Ph.D in English or Comparative Literature by August 1, 2026
- Teaching upper-level courses in their specialty
- Contributing to the First-Year Writing program
- Teaching introductory literature courses that fulfill general education requirements
