Job Description
Our client, a leading distributor in Puerto Rico, is seeking a Director of Finance to oversee all financial aspects of the organization, including managing financial strategies, analyzing data, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include managing financial operations, conducting cash flow analysis, preparing financial reports, leading audits, and developing internal financial policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA required
- 8+ years of accounting experience
- 6+ years supervising AP/AR functions
- Prior experience in media, broadcasting, or ad sales finance is a plus
- Familiarity with ad tech and billing platforms (e.g., FreeWheel, WideOrbit, Google Ad Manager)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems like NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP
- Solid knowledge of ASC 606, media revenue recognition, and vendor contract structuring
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
