Geotechnical Laboratory Engineer

Process soils and/or rock samples, perform core logging and routine testing, data recording, data processing, and assist the project lead by company procedures, health and safety and quality policies.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Geotechnical/Civil engineering or a relevant scientific or numerical subject.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in a geotechnical laboratory setting or more than 8 years if the highest education is a vocational high school or a diploma.
• Proficient in verbal and written English.
• Experience in using geotechnical software to process the data.
• Good knowledge of standard testing (ASTM, ISO, BS, etc).
• Experience in implementing ISO 17025 in the laboratory is an advantage.
