High School Math Teacher (25-26 SY)

Freire Schools is seeking a High School Math Teacher to join a growing team at one of their three high schools in Philadelphia. They are a non-profit network dedicated to providing educational success for underserved communities. The role focuses on creating a rigorous learning environment that fosters critical thinking and encourages achievement for all students, with SEL and community building being two of the key responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Valid state teaching certification or willingness to obtain
• Strong content knowledge
• Positive attitude
• Willingness to do what it takes to get a job done
• 2+ years of experience working with diverse student populations
