Job Description
Freeport-McMoRan is seeking a Senior Tribology Technician to contribute to higher equipment availability and lower maintenance costs through predictive maintenance. This role involves monitoring equipment, analyzing oil samples using various technologies, supporting RCM programs, and communicating findings. Requirements
- Seven (7) years of Journeyman level mechanical maintenance experience with industrial equipment (pumps, motors, gearboxes, pulleys, etc.)
- Working knowledge of moving and rotating equipment
- Effective written, verbal and communication skills
- Computer skills in Windows environment
- Level I Oil Analysis certification or equivalent
- Valid state driver's license
