Job Description
Freeform is deploying software-defined, autonomous metal 3D printing factories globally, aiming to deliver the scalability of software to physical production. They are seeking a Senior Materials Engineer specializing in metal 3D printing to establish and optimize M&P infrastructure. This role involves hands-on research, data analysis, and process improvement, with a focus on maximizing machine learning applications and creating innovative technology.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in material science, materials engineering, metallurgy, or mechanical engineering
- 7+ years of professional materials engineering experience (with at least three years in metals)
- Experience developing and optimizing metallurgical sample preparation techniques.
- Experience operating complex materials equipment.
