Job Description
Freeform is a software-defined metal 3D printing factory deploying autonomous metal 3D printing capabilities. They are seeking a Manufacturing (Machining) Head of Operation to own the entire post-print machining process, from CNC programming to ensuring high-quality parts. The role involves leading a team, driving process improvements, and scaling operations to meet growing demands.
Requirements
- Own all aspects of Freeform’s machining operations (CNC programming, setup, operation, inspection, finishing).
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of engineers, machinists, programmers, and technicians.
- Drive the team to meet aggressive delivery timelines.
- Oversee daily operation and long-term expansion of the machine shop.
- Use inspection data to improve processes and program tooling.
