Job Description
The Post-Doctoral Research Fellow - Cancer Genetics position is available in the lab of David MacPherson at Fred Hutch, focusing on the biology of small cell lung cancer (SCLC). The role involves developing innovative liquid biopsy assays and modeling biologically distinct subsets of SCLC using mouse and PDX systems. The position requires collaboration with colleagues and external collaborators, as well as the ability to design and execute experiments, interpret data, and present results.
Requirements
- Recent PhD or MD in Biology or related fields
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to design and execute experiments, interpret data and present results
- A record of publication in peer-reviewed journals, with at least one lead author publication or preprint
