Job Description
Fred Hutch Cancer Center is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing staff and support the provision of high-quality patient care. This position involves hiring, training, disciplining, and evaluating nursing staff, as well as assisting with P&P, SOPs, and patient education. The role focuses on fostering a culture of collaboration, compassion, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Nursing degree, either ADN or BSN
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license or current NLC multistate license (MSL)
- Must have current Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license or current NLC multistate license (MSL)
- Current BLS AHA Health Provider Card or equivalent course
- Current NLC multistate license (MSL)
- Minimum 2 years as a RN and 1 year of previous leadership experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in basic computer skills
- Strong teaching ability
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to provide feedback
- Strong project management skills and committee experience
