Assistant in the Field of Order Welding and System Technology

The Fraunhofer Institute for Materials and Beam Technology IWS Dresden is seeking an Assistant in the Field of Order Welding and System Technology. The position involves planning, preparation, and setup of experiments, programming and operating of machines, conducting and documenting welding tests, and analysis and evaluation of results.

Requirements

• Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or Process Engineering
• Knowledge of operating and programming CNC machines or robots
• Knowledge of reading technical drawings
• Knowledge of working with CAD software, Autodesk Inventor preferred
