Assistant Shop Manager - Vivacity Kuching

Sports Direct Malaysia is looking for an Assistant Shop Manager to join their growing team in Kuching. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, training, and motivating a team of outlet staff to deliver best-in-class services in all departments. Key responsibilities include ensuring all team members observe company policies, achieving monthly sales targets, monitoring stock deliveries, and conducting daily morning briefings. The role also involves managing team members, handling customer inquiries, and overseeing shop operations. Candidates with a certificate or diploma in retail management and at least 2 years of supervisory experience in a reputable retail company are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• At least 2 years working experiences at supervisory level in reputable retail companies at similar size.
• At least a Certificate/Diploma in Retail Management or relevant discipline.
• Have passion and knowledge in sports is an advantage.
• Proven leadership and management skills (with minimum 10 pax).
• Good analytic, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Good customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work long hours, weekends, public holidays and shift duty.
• Open for relocation.
