Franklin International is seeking a Buyer to plan, analyze, and execute the purchase of assigned goods and services to support Franklin's operational objectives.
Requirements
- Research and source goods and services to achieve best overall value (cost, quality, service, and delivery).
- Prepare specifications and scopes of work; obtain and evaluate bids and proposals.
- Identify vendors and place purchase orders for materials and services.
- Coordinate and administer service and preventative maintenance contracts.
- Monitor vendor performance, resolve delivery or quality issues, and support corrective actions.
- Enter, track, and receive purchase orders in the ERP system; maintain accurate electronic records and documentation.
- Develop reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
- Communicate order status and collaborate with internal departments to meet operational needs.
- Support Purchasing Team initiatives and provide guidance to the Maintenance MRO Coordinator as needed.
