Requirements
- Direct live newscasts, original programs, specials, and continuous coverage during breaking news and severe weather situations for both television and digital platforms.
- Utilize a mix of manual and automated broadcast software and switchers to execute productions.
- Code and prepare newscasts with thorough knowledge of camera operations, graphics integrations, and audio controls.
- Organize and manage show rundowns, including coordination of live shots and timing of cues.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with producers, on-air talent, and production staff.
- Innovate daily to differentiate and elevate the station's local news presentation on all platforms.
- Help Lead and direct the work of camera crews, audio operators, and floor directors as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with various teams to offer a unique and engaging viewing experience for the audience.
