Staff Pharmacist Retail

Fairbanks Memorial Hospital is seeking a Pharmacist Retail to provide pharmaceutical care in a retail setting. The role involves dispensing medications, counseling patients, and ensuring appropriate drug use. The pharmacist will also oversee pharmacy technicians and maintain accurate records. They are part of the Mayo Clinic Care Network and are a non-profit facility in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Requirements

• Pharmacy licensure in the state of practice
• Immunization certification and/or licensure (if state requires)
• Good organizational, problem solving, and computer skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of medication management information system software
• Understanding of computer software, especially medication management software
• Ability to evaluate patient care using reference tools
