The Foundation for Recovery is Nevada’s largest peer‑run nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by addiction and overdose. Through a statewide network of community centers, peer recovery support, and 12‑step programs—including Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and Gamblers Anonymous—it offers holistic services from treatment to post‑incarceration recovery. The organization also champions recovery advocacy, providing training, education, and a "Faces and Voices of Recovery" platform that amplifies lived experience in policy discussions. Its distinctive peer‑led model empowers participants to become advocates, fostering a culture of mutual support and empowerment that extends beyond traditional treatment settings. As a public charity, the Foundation partners with national initiatives such as the Partnership for a Drug‑free America to broaden its impact across Nevada.
