Job Description
Found Energy is a clean energy delivery platform company building technologies to replace fossil fuels. They are seeking a Co-op intern in Spring 2026 to contribute to the scaling up of their hydrogen generation technologies. The co-op will involve translating R&D into prototypes, testing, and identifying improvements, while interacting with customers and partners. The position requires design, building, and testing reactor prototypes, as well as data analysis and process documentation.
Requirements
- Deeply motivated by the climate crisis
- Pursuing education in chemical engineering, materials science and engineering, or related fields
- Track record of strong academic and/or project-based performance
- Exceptional communication and documentation skills
- Experience in chemical reactor design, assembly, and validation
- Familiarity with process control systems, PID controllers, and PLC controllers
- Experience in chemical separation and purification processes
- Experience in process flow diagrams and chemical system simulations/models
- Experience using AutoCAD
- Research into self-selection bias
