Wire Wrap Operator

The Wire Operator operates semi-automatic and CNC machinery to fabricate wire wrapped screens and related components, performing quality checks and ensuring applicable documentation is filled out accurately.

Requirements

• Excellent understanding of manufacturing drawings, shop order forms and weld procedures
• Identify tools and materials as per work order
• Configure machinery to produce quality results as per procedures and quality requirements
• Perform quality control checks to ensure the product follows work order requirements
• Record and calculate material usage
• Unload shipments, weigh and receive goods when required
• Ensure tools and machinery are in good working order and maintained
• Participate in training and safety meetings as required
• Lift and carry materials weighing up to 45 lbs., lift items weighing more than 45 lbs. with assistance from other workers, forklift and/or overhead hoist
