Job Description
Performs welding applications, visual and in-process inspections, and troubleshoots welding problems to enhance team productivity. Responsible for training team members and passing periodic welding tests.
Requirements
- TIG and MIG welding
- Setting up and running RT & UT Quality Vessel Weld Processes
- Setting up and running RT Quality Pipe Weld and UT Quality Nozzle Welds
- Carbon Arc Gouging
- Making UT or RT Weld Repairs
- Cleaning and stamping welds
- Setting up and running structural non-code welds
- Reading drawings, WPS's/PQR's
- Leading others and planning ahead
- Knowledge of PT, MT, UT, RT methods
