IT ServiceNow Engineer

Fortive is seeking a skilled and motivated ServiceNow developer to help support its global ServiceNow environment as part of its developer team. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who is able to work independently within a technical team and be comfortable operating in a fast-paced organization.

Requirements

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise applications.
• Ensure compliance with ServiceNow development standards, low-code/no-code, configuration-not-customization and other best practices.
• Maintain a high standard of code quality by writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code optimizing for performance
• Ensure that our ServiceNow services are interoperable, maintainable, and scalable, supporting seamless employee and customer experiences.
• Act as Tier 3 escalation point for the ServiceNow Operations team to assist with resolution of issues with ServiceNow applications or integrations.
• Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and enhancements and recommend improvements.
• Communicate technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Participate in process design workshops and kaizen events.
• Other Duties as assigned or required.
