Job Description
As the province’s largest energy provider, FortisBC is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-op student to join their team for an 8-month term. The role will involve various project-related assignments, including design, operation, and assessment of natural gas facilities and pipelines.
Requirements
- Engineering Student - Third or Fourth year preferred
- Valid BC driver’s license (or other provincial equivalent)
- Experience or knowledge with CAD applications and competence in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience with report and memo writing in a corporate environment
- Experience with interpreting mechanical and P&ID drawings of piping systems
- Competent public speaker
