Senior Software Application Developer

FortiCare, a part of the IT Department at Fortinet, is seeking a Senior Software Applications Developer to develop and support multi-tier web applications. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing core applications, including product registration, order fulfillment, and customer support systems, using Microsoft .Net technologies and MS SQL Server. The ideal candidate will have experience with microservices and web API development.

Requirements

• Understand business processes for product entitlement/license management, renewals, and customer support.
• Understand system specifications and application high-level designs.
• Complete application detail designs.
• Apply a strong knowledge of Microsoft stack including C#, Web API 2 and SQL Server
• Understand web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, XML, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, Web Service, etc.
• Understanding of OO design and commonly used web application programming patterns like MVC, etc.
• Understanding of application development methodologies and lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services such as App Service, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, etc.
