Wildfire Management Forester

Forsite is looking for an intermediate-level Wildfire Management Forester with experience in forest management, wildfire behavior, wildfire risk management, and fuel management.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in Forestry or an environmental/natural resource management focus
• Background in operational forest management, wildfire fighting, and/or wildfire risk management
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record
• Able to work both independently under limited direct supervision as well as in a project team environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure to meet targets
• Attention to detail to deliver high quality products
• Willing to travel as needed to support clients and project work
• A safety conscious attitude
