Job Description
Forsite is looking for a Planning Forester with strong communication and facilitation skills to support clients across BC and Western Canada. The position will be based out of Campbell River, BC with an option for remote work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Forestry or Natural Resource Management
- Minimum 10 years of related experience in forest management planning and operations
- Registered or eligible to be registered as a Registered Professional Forester (RPF) or Registered Forest Technologist (RFT) in BC
- Experience in the facilitation and coordination of forest management and planning processes with Indigenous communities, forest licensees, or local governments
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record
- Able to work both independently under limited direct supervision as well as in a project team environment
