Job Description
Formlabs is seeking an Embedded Hardware Engineer to join their electrical engineering team and design circuits, sensors, and electromechanical systems. The role involves designing embedded firmware for real-time control of hardware, debugging hardware, and owning larger system architecture design. This is a full-stack engineer position focused on shipping products.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience developing firmware for ARM Cortex or equivalent microcontrollers in C++ or C (bare-metal or RTOS)
- Experience with developing software for embedded or desktop Linux systems (for example: device drivers, networking, or performance-sensitive applications)
- Solid understanding of electronics fundamentals and hardware debugging
- Experience with project management through a full hardware development lifecycle
