Forestry Technician - Falconer, NY

We are seeking a Forestry Technician to join our team in Falconer, NY. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Forestry or closely related field, or 2+ years of practical field forestry experience. The technician will be responsible for timber inventory, timber sale preparation, forest data collection, and other duties related to forest management.

Requirements

• Associate's (or higher) degree in Forestry, Forest Technology, or Environmental Biology
• 2 years minimum of practical field forestry experience
• Tree species identification and forest mensuration techniques
• Basic knowledge of common computer/office software
• Self-motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
