Engineering Specialist - Incoming Quality

Support the Incoming Quality department by analyzing and diagnosing complex component problems that arise during automotive assembly, EOL testing, or Surveillance calls.

Requirements

• Thoroughly analyze all possible fixes when approaching problems
• Conduct deep dives into solving and verifying root causes, including electrical testing, dimensional analysis, mechanical testing, etc. on supplier parts
• Compare components against engineering drawings and/or CAD to understand if supplier parts meet engineering specifications
• Support expedited concern resolution with cross-functional teams
• Cover for IQ Process Coaches occasionally
