Job Description
Forbes Advisor seeks a Director of Data Partnerships to build and scale a new data-licensing business from the ground up, responsible for monetizing proprietary financial and business data and driving new business acquisition.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, partnerships, or a related commercial role
- Proven track record of new business acquisition and closing enterprise-level deals
- Experience in data licensing, data products, or financial information services strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of data delivery models and ability to convey customer needs to technical teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify market opportunities and translate them into actionable plans
- Highly self-directed, comfortable operating independently in a new and growing business line
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with technical, product, legal, and finance stakeholders
