Job Description
Foodics is a leading restaurant management ecosystem and payment tech provider, serving over 35 countries. They are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to contribute to the creation, maintenance, testing, and debugging of their web applications. The role involves collaborating with various teams and improving system performance and scalability.
Requirements
- Establish and guide the architecture of several web applications.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers.
- Design and implement new features and functionalities.
- Write well-tested code with a knowledge of test-driven development.
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
- Write beautiful and well-designed code that explains itself.
- Integrate data from various services and databases.
- Offer coaching and mentoring to Junior engineers.
- Research and lead the adoption of new systems/technologies.
- Look for ways to eliminate technical debt, improve performance, and organize the code base.
