Job Description
We are seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Special Services Department. The successful candidate will assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students, create treatment plans, provide therapy, and educate students, parents, and professionals.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid NJDOE Speech-Language Specialist certificate
- Completion of a Master’s degree with major emphasis in speech-language pathology, communication disorders or speech-language and hearing science
- Applicant must hold or be eligible for a Speech/Language Pathologist Professional License from the State of New Jersey
- ASHA certification is preferred; however, CFY’s may be considered if supervision is accessible
- Must be able to stand and work continuously for a minimum of four hours per work day
- Must be able to use arms and hands without restrictions to accommodate the physical, mobility, and ambulatory needs of students
- Favorable criminal background check and child registry check required
- 2 Step Tuberculin test
