Job Description
Assist the lead teacher in physical education, differentiated lesson plans, and assessments. Collaborate with instructional staff and provide feedback to students, parents, and administration. Manage student behavior and maintain a safe and optimal learning environment.
Requirements
- With Paraprofessional Experience
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education or relevant field of study
- Current and valid Delaware State Teaching Certificate applicable to the subject/grades being taught (Physical Education)
- Minimum 1+ year(s) experience working with students in an urban environment
- Ability to communicate effectively and positively with parents, students and a variety of diverse stakeholders
- Ability to facilitate virtual learning by hosting online classroom instruction and assessment as needed
- Knowledge of and skills with technology and relevant programming, including Google Classroom-web service
- Ability to speak Spanish
