Job Description
Focused Staffing is seeking a Mild/Moderate Special Education Teacher to work in Parker, Colorado. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to classical education and be able to create engaging lesson plans for students. The role involves working with a team of teachers to develop and implement curriculum, as well as providing individualized support to students.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
- Passing scores on the appropriate Colorado Educator Proficiency Assessments
- DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card / Background and Criminal History Clearance
- First Aid and CPR Certification
- Working knowledge of the Common Core Standards and Classical curricula
- Proven leadership ability promoting collaborative decision making
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
