Job Description
FNS is seeking a Trucking Planning Manager to lead our logistics planning efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, transportation, and planning, with excellent analytical and communication skills.
Requirements
- Obtain necessary information from customers to support planning and operational needs.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports to management as required.
- Communicate and collaborate with the department managers and employees.
- Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and manage the daily utilization of trucking equipment.
- Partner with the operations team to learn, understand, and improve business processes.
- Analyze cost trends, assess their impact on the business, and propose data-driven solutions.
- Develop and implement strategic planning initiatives to optimize operational performance.
