We're looking for an IT Systems Administrator who's ready to operate at a high technical level while still staying close to real-world support and systems. This role is perfect for someone who has grown beyond traditional IT support and is stepping into (or already working in) systems administration and infrastructure ownership.
Requirements
- Take ownership of key IT systems, infrastructure, and enterprise applications from planning through long-term support
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network, cloud, and identity systems
- Administer and support Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, and related platforms
- Automate system and support processes using tools like PowerShell
- Deploy and manage VMs, service accounts, monitoring tools, and cloud resources
- Lead major IT projects, including technical design, documentation, risk planning, and rollout
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions that improve performance, scalability, and security
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root-cause analysis
- Support end users when needed and partner with engineering resources for escalations
- Work with vendors and contractors on implementations and system improvements
- Help maintain strong cybersecurity practices and protect sensitive data
- Manage IT inventory, hardware/software provisioning, and licensing
- Support physical infrastructure such as server racks, network cabling, and power systems
- Operate within ITIL processes and ticketing systems to ensure reliable service delivery
- Provide technical leadership during incidents and mentor Level 1–3 support staff
- Contribute to IT standards, policies, and best practices
- Stay current on emerging technologies and cybersecurity threats
