Join FLSmidth to contribute to a sustainable future and help customers move towards zero emissions in mining and cement. As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will lead process layout and plant design activities, drive process optimization initiatives, and prepare and execute CAPEX projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering
- 7–10 years of hands-on experience in fabrication and assembly engineering in heavy engineering, automotive, or capital equipment manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, metal forming, machining, and assembly techniques
- Proven experience in plant layout planning and line balancing
- Skilled in process optimization, time study, motion study, and lean manufacturing tools
- Experience in managing CAPEX projects — from justification to execution and commissioning
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent tools for layout and fixture design
- Understanding of material handling systems, ergonomics, and workplace safety
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data-driven decision-making skills
- Good communication, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership skills
