Flock Safety is hiring a Hardware RF Design Engineer to design, measure, and oversee 3rd party solutions for WLAN, CV2X, and 5G radios. The role requires 1+ years of experience in RF and board design, familiarity with WLAN and cellular RF test equipment, and knowledge of RF test equipment evaluation and down selection.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- 1+ years of experience in RF and board design
- Familiarity with WLAN and or Cellular RF test equipment and supporting software
- Knowledge in how to perform RF Test equipment evaluation and down selection
- Ability to perform RF Characterization in OTA (anechoic) test chamber
- Experience with Test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Oscilloscopes
- Ability to perform processing, verifying, and analyzing measured data
- Able to produce clear, concise presentations and reports
- Developing custom tool sets to aid in data visualization
- Experience with PTCRB (CTIA) and FCC certification processes and testing
- Effective communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
- Excellent teamwork skills with proven ability to work with a cross-functional team and drive for timely project success
- Knowledge and experience with commercial connectivity devices to include Mobile and IoT devices
