Job Description
Flock Safety is seeking a Compliance Engineer to lead and support all aspects of RF certification and regulatory compliance for their cellular and connected hardware products. This role involves testing and validating wireless designs, managing relationships with labs, and ensuring adherence to regional and carrier requirements. The company emphasizes a collaborative, fast-paced environment and a commitment to making a positive impact on crime prevention and security.
Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in RF compliance testing and certification (FCC, PTCRB, Carrier).
- Strong understanding of cellular standards (4G, 5G, LTE), WLAN, and IoT radio systems.
- Experience coordinating PTCRB, FCC, and Cellular Carrier certification processes, including EMC/EMI.
- Experience collaborating with compliance labs on test plan creation, scheduling, and issue resolution.
- Familiarity with RF test equipment and regulatory documentation.
