Job Description
FlightSafety International is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to review, analyze, modify, and develop applications for production Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and supporting applications. The successful candidate will have in-depth experience developing client/server applications and GUIs, as well as strong working knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and other Windows-based programs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience administrating and customizing SQL Server databases with their associated toolsets in a production or support environment
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent industry experience
- In-depth experience developing client/server applications and GUIs utilizing programming languages and tools in a Windows environment
- Strong working knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and other Windows-based programs
- Knowledge of UNIX is a plus
- Proficient Windows usage skills
- Required specific application experience customizing, administrating, and supporting the following programs: SQL Server and Syteline or Symix
