School Based Mental Health Provider (Intern)

Five Keys is seeking a School Based Mental Health Intern to provide direct Mental Health services to students under IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) and fulfill individual and group counseling services to students to emphasize improved educational performance and/or conduct.

Requirements

• Registered intern with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences required
• Master’s Degree required
• Experience with an understanding of how educational barriers affect work and training for students in the program
• Creation and documentation of related reports and data as required
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, Gmail, and Google Drives/Docs and professional communication, including spelling and grammar
• Valid CA driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Travel required to Five Keys sites, communities and in-custody locations
• Must be willing and able to work in a correctional facility and travel throughout the area to community sites
