Job Description
Firsthand is a holistic peer support program providing care for individuals living with serious mental illness. They use a team of peer recovery specialists, health plan partners, and clinicians to deliver comprehensive, non-inappropriate healthcare. The role of a Peer Recovery Supporter is focused on outreach, engagement, and ongoing support to individuals in the community, promoting health and wellness while fostering trust and connection with their services.
Requirements
- Lived experience with SMI and/or SUD
- Qualified as a Community Health OR eligible and willing to complete coursework within first 3 months and pursue certification as soon as possible
- Intermediate computer skills (Google Workspace)
- Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills
