Sr. AWS Platform Engineer - REMOTE

First American is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to design and implement technical architecture, software, and tooling for core, mission-critical software platforms. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, a product mindset, and takes a hands-on approach for driving engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience creating and managing infrastructure in AWS using modern cloud engineering practices
• Proven track record of delivering fit-for-purpose technical solutions that balance complexity, performance, and maintainability
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
• Deep experience implementing infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD best practices
• Extensive experience managing AWS Organizations, accounts, networking components, and cloud-native services
• Hands-on experience with containerized solutions leveraging Docker
• Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, shift-left methodologies, and DevSecOps processes
• Experience in using and integrating AI tools into enterprise software development pipelines
