Job Description
Intermediate Accountant position available at a public accounting firm. Job involves preparing year-end working paper files, participating in audit and review assignments, and preparing tax returns. Collaborates with clients and supports managers and junior staff on ad-hoc assignments and special projects.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in a public accounting practice
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Progress toward a CPA designation
- Strong understanding of ASPE, ASNPO, and Canadian tax
- Proficiency with CaseWare, CaseView, TaxPrep, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent analytical abilities, strong organizational skills, and a problem-solving mindset
- Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills
