Job Description
Fictiv is a leading technology company transforming the manufacturing industry with its cloud platform. They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve manufacturing operations, analyzing designs for manufacturability and costing, and generating quotations. The role involves providing feedback to the quoting software team and contributing to the automation of manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- Release Package Review
- Quoting
- Calculator Generation
- DFx Feedback
- Drawing Generation
- GD&T understanding
- Manufacturing process understanding
- CNC/3D printing experience
- Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent technical training
- Understanding of GD&T and conventional (coordinate) tolerancing
- Knowledge of manufacturability and common metals and plastics
- Exposure to multiple custom manufacturing processes (sheet metal, urethane casting, injection molding, etc.)
