Team Leader - Nigeria

FHI 360 is seeking a Team Leader for the Outcomes Fund for Out of School Children in Lagos State program. The Team Leader will provide strategic and operational leadership for the delivery of a large-scale, outcomes-based education programme in Lagos State, Nigeria.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, International Development, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in leading large-scale education programmes in low- and middle-income countries
• Proven track record of delivering measurable results in school access, retention, and foundational learning outcomes
• Demonstrated experience managing donor-funded programmes, ideally involving results-based financing, payment-by-results, or performance-based contracting
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing diverse, multidisciplinary teams and consortium partners
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and diplomacy skills, with a history of successful collaboration with government agencies, donors, and civil society organisations
• Oral and written fluency in English
