Copy Editor Intern/Volunteer

Copy edit and fact check content for Felix and FelixMag.co. Collaborate with editorial, design, photo, and production departments. Maintain copy editing resources and guides. Passion for women's economic opportunities and excellent command of English language required.

Requirements

• A passion for women's economic opportunities
• Must be a full or part-time student and working toward a degree
• Excellent command of the English language
• Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines
• Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously
• Ability to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment with competing deadlines and priorities
• Integrity, honesty, openness and a willingness to operate as a team player
• Conscientious, detail-oriented, and efficient, impeccable understanding of grammar and good writing
• Strong copy editing and research/fact checking experience in very fast-paced digital environment
• Proficient in Chicago Manual of Style, MS Word, InCopy/InDesign, MAC/PC platforms
• Experience with HTML and content management systems
• Familiarity with fashion, beauty, society and culture is a plus
