Job Description
FWI is building a team to administer, maintain, secure, and accredit the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) Academic Network. The Data Center Lead will oversee proper configuration of domain servers, SAN, and backup systems, lead disaster recovery operations, and ensure the military language training community receives reliable, always-available data center services.
Requirements
- BA/BS from accredited college/university
- 5+ years experience or 9+ years progressive experience as a data center system administrator
- CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP certification
- Vendor Specific CE/OS Certification
- Experience leading a team
- Experience maintaining a high availability datacenter
- Experience with Amazon, Microsoft, or Google cloud services
- Experience with VMware vSphere platform
- Extensive experience in both application development/sustainment and operational support for large, highly scalable applications
- Secret level security clearance
