Application Developer - Senior (Lead)

FWI is building a team to administer, maintain, secure, and accredit the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) Academic Network. This position will serve as the Government's lead application development authority, bridging DevOps practices, Agile methodology, and software lifecycle management to deliver innovative educational technology solutions.

Requirements

• Lead the DevOps Application Development/Sustainment team
• Ensure timely delivery using DevOps best practices and Agile methodology
• Manage Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Release Management processes
• Develop and maintain applications using.NET, JAVA, SQL/MySQL, and HTML5
• Support SharePoint, Linux, Tomcat, Apache, iOS, PHP, and WordPress environments
• Utilize Microsoft Power Platforms (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate)
• Manage GitLab repositories and CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure Section 508 accessibility compliance in all development
