Job Description
The Machine Production Operator position requires skills to operate and maintain equipment, exercise independent judgment, and make decisions on mechanical and quality aspects of machinery and/or product.
Requirements
- Observe filling, marking, labeling, taping, packing, or wrapping containers
- Detect malfunctions in machine operation
- Perform adjustments or repairs on equipment
- Record and inspect quality checks in computer dbase
- Ensure all aspects of quality standard are met
- Lubricate, sanitize equipment, perform troubleshooting, and minor mechanical adjustments
- Operate a forklift and/or manual or automated hand jack
- Record downtime data, tea blends, dumps, and first case checks on required process monitor
