Senior Application DevOps Engineer (1 year contract)

FapticTechnology is seeking a senior Application DevOps Engineer for a 1-year contract. The role focuses on accelerating development by providing infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation for cloud services. The engineer will collaborate with developers, mentor others, and lead technical projects within the AWS and Kubernetes ecosystems, ensuring smooth infrastructure operation and business continuity.

Requirements

• Collaborate with the development teams to plan, deploy and administer applications on AWS and Kubernetes
• Maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles and Terraform
• Initiate and drive the adoption of technologies and use of good patterns for development and operations
• Mentoring and overseeing other engineers
• Lead and manage specific technical domains or projects
• Oversee and improve engineering processes and practices
• Implement and oversee cloud migration projects
• Provide guidance for re-platforming and re-factor of current cloud infrastructure
• Investigate and perform regular assessments of cloud deployments
• Ensure company’s deployment standards and pillars are followed in cloud solutions and resources
• Stay up to date with latest tools and trends in the industry
• Provide training
• Excellent time management skills
• Linux and Windows admin, networking and scripting skills
