Job Description
Fanatics Betting & Gaming is seeking a Staff Engineer to pioneer AI-augmented development within their betting platform. The role involves technical leadership, defining technical strategy, leading a multi-team effort, and building scalable production systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about AI, with a proven track record in building high-performance applications and managing large-scale systems.
Requirements
- 10+ years building and deploying scalable, high-performance production applications
- 5+ years in technical leadership roles
- Experience with systems handling 100M+ daily transactions
- Proven ability to influence technical decisions across an organization
- Experience with systems handling 100M+ daily transactions
- Track record of successful multi-team technical initiatives
- Strong grasp of software design principles (SOLID, DRY) and testing methodologies
- Experience with observability and monitoring in distributed systems
- Self-directed problem solver who thrives in ambiguous situations
